A Domicile Certificate (Niwas Praman Patra / Resident Certificate) proves that a person is a permanent resident of a specific Indian state or Union Territory. It is compulsory for claiming state quota reservations in NEET/JEE college admissions, government employment (PSC/UPSC state exams), and state scholarship schemes.
