India Vehicle Scrap Policy — Kya Aapka Vehicle Scrap Hoga?
Government of India ka Vehicle Scrap Policy (2021 onwards) purane, polluting vehicles ko phase out karne ke liye laya gaya hai:
- Government/PSU Vehicles: 15 saal purane — mandatory scrap from April 2022
- Commercial Vehicles: 15 saal purane — mandatory re-registration fee jab tak scrapped nahi hota
- Private Vehicles: 20 saal purane — mandatory fitness test; fail karne par scrap
Vehicle Scrap Karne Ke Fayde (Certificate of Deposit)
- 5% Discount on new vehicle purchase from many manufacturers (Maruti, Tata, Hyundai, etc.)
- Road Tax Waiver: States like Delhi, UP, Maharashtra give 25% road tax waiver on new vehicle registration if old scrap certificate shown
- Registration Fee Waiver: Some states waive re-registration fee
- Scrap Value: Government Registered Scrapping Centre (RVSF) aapko metal scrap ki market value bhi deta hai
Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility (RVSF) Kaise Dhundhe?
- Visit: parivahan.gov.in > Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility
- Apna state aur city select karein
- Nearest authorized RVSF ka naam aur address milega
- Wahan vehicle leke jaayein — woh Certificate of Deposit denge
- Iss certificate ko new vehicle dealership par submit karein discount lene ke liye
